Ever since I can remember nature mattered very much to me. It is where I find peace, acceptance and a deep connection to my creator.

When I paint nature I am not trying to imitate what I see, but distill the essence of what I feel.

Someone asked me once how I would know if I were enlightened. The idea that popped into my head was “…when I can see the breath of a flower.”  Painting, for me, is a celebration of nature and love.
